Xiaomi has launched an affordable wearable in the form of Mi Band 4C in Malaysia. The new fitness tracker from Xiaomi comes with a heart rate monitor and flaunts a colour display. The company has launched the Mi Band 4C in Malaysia as of now and there is no official word as to whether Xiaomi will launch it in India or not.
The Mi Smart Band 4C is priced at 99 MYR in Malaysia which translates to around Rs 1,750 in India. The device comes with a 1.08-inch TFT colour display and is powered by a 130mAh battery which the company claims to provide up to 14 days of battery life. This fitness tracker is quite basic and provides heart rate monitoring, step counting and other regular exercise tracking. The device can be taken for a swim as it is water resistant up to 5ATM. Tis fitness tracker also provides notifications to incoming calls and messages.
In India, Xiaomi is selling the Mi Band 4 at 2,299. It offers a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED display with customisable watch faces. With a claimed battery life of 20 days, it is water resistant up to 50m.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Band 5 in China. The device has been launched in two storage variants priced at CNY 189 (roughly Rs 2,000) and CNY 229 (roughly Rs 2400). While the former does not offer NFC support, the latter does.
The Mi Band 5 offers a 1.2-inch AMOLED display that supports more than 100 new animations for watch faces with popular characters from the country including Hatsune Miku, SpongeBob SquarePants and more.
In terms of specs and features, the Mi Band 5 offers support for 11 sports modes as well as tracking period tracking. Further, there is also support for REM sleep in addition to light and deep sleep.Also, there is also an in-built barometer in the Mi Band 5 to check the atmospheric pressure.
