The new generation iPhones are on the assembly line and we have confirmation from Wistron that the new models would be featuring Wireless charging and a water proof design. This was confirmed by the CEO of Wistron, Robert Hwang at the shareholders meet.
The firm is reportedly optimistic about the assembly of older generation on iPhones in India and are expecting to have profits manufacturing them from 2018 on wards.
This year Apple would be introducing three models, iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and completely redesigned iPhone 8. The rumors till now suggests a dual camera with depth sensing capabilities. This could really be a possibility as Apple announced ARKit at WWDC this year to help developed build Augmented Reality apps for the new generation smartphones. Other leaks also suggests curved display on the iPhone 8 with the Home button built in the display itself.
These are all leaks and we are waiting for Apple to unveil the overhauled smartphone as the company already has a good competitor with Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
